Welcome to The Verve Academy of Skating

The Verve Academy of Skating is a different kind of skating club.  Our focus is to help our students accomplish their goals while teaching them the skills they need to be great on the ice and off.  Students of both the power skating programs and the figure skating programs have access to the highest quality coaching in the Hamilton area.

Our Mission

To provide the highest quality instruction so our skaters will reach their optimum potential.  We are dedicated to ensure that our skaters achieve their personal goals and will enjoy meeting the challenge of reaching the next level.  Our personal goals are to establish a positive experience and not only teach skating and hockey, but, teach life skills as well.

Our Philosophy

The philosophy of our school is to offer a different experience in the sport of skating to build a foundation for many different routes for the future.  This may include hockey, figure skating, ringette or purely recreational entertainment.  Whatever your goals may be, we are here to get you there. We understand that the parental role of any of these sports can become overwhelming, so, we maintain an open door policy to ensure that the parents have just as much of an enjoyable experience as the kids do.  Please approach Amanda or Cheryl with any questions or concerns as we are always open to our families and their new ideas and/or suggestions. Private lessons are always an option for parents so please talk to Amanda about your interest in hiring a private coach.
